A Little Catch Up

Hey there. Hope you’re doing well – I know I haven’t been on here for a while but I’m back now. The reason being that May was quite a packed month for me professionally. There are two things specifically that stood out as an experience – both of which I was new to and both of which I’m excited to share more with you at a later time. That said, here was my May:

Interview with RTB’s Rampai Pagi
In Mid May, I did my first live television interview ever (!) with RTB’s Rampai Pagi. As one would expect, it was a nerve-wracking experience but to my surprise, it wasn’t as anxiety inducing as I thought. I’ll go further into this in another separate blog post outlining the process. The great thing is that I took my old camera with me to photograph what it all looks like inside. Be on the lookout for that! In the meantime, you can watch the interview here.

Event Management for the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE)
I dedicated the bulk of last month to helping manage a couple of events that were of high importance and had high stakes. It was admittedly a very challenging and stressful experience (my first time managing an event too!) but at the same time -seeing how things were aligned at the end- it was very fulfilling. I would even go as far as to call it a modest success! so much to recall and write about this experience. So keep your eyes open for that too! You can read more about the events here.
